Farjana Bilkis

Assistant Professor (Mathematics)

Biography:

Farjana Bilkis was born in Rajshahi District, Bangladesh. She received her B.Sc degree in Mathematics from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh in 2013 and M.Sc in Applied Mathematics in 2014 from the same University. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics, Department of Science and Humanities, Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Humanities, Cumilla Cantonment, Bangladesh. She also worked as a Lecturer (Mathematics) at the same university (BAIUST).

She has published 6 papers in peer-reviewed international journals mostly of which are with impact factors and 1 published paper in Baiust Aademic Journal (BAJ). Her research interests lies in formation of planetary system. Her current interests also lie on solution of Non-linear Evolution Equation.

She has received the Ministry of Science and Technology awards National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship.

Computational Astrophysics, Travelling Wave Solution of Nonlinear Evolution Equation.

Computational astrophysics is the study and implementation of numerical analysis to solve astrophysical problems for which a quantitative theory already exists.
